On Saturday, January 26, 2008 Lizzy and her family were driving to Illinois so she could go home with her mom who was at her nana's house. They got in the car accident in Memphis Arkansas in a head on collision. Lizzy was killed instantly at 12:31 am. She did not have her seatbelt on in the back seat, and was hit so hard the spare tire came up and Lizzy was bounced around the back like a pin ball, when the rescue workers opened the door she came out in their arms already gone. Her father is in critical condition and her step mother and four siblings were injured as well just not as bad except for Hayleigh who is in a full body cast. Lizzy's wake will be held on Friday Febuary 1, 2008, and her funeral will be Saturday Febuary 2, 2008, where then she will be buried in Kankakee Memorial Gardens in Kankakee Illinois.
